This week, at long last, I finished my very first painting project. I sat down with my son at a large table and, under less-than-ideal lighting conditions, we painted two versions of the same miniature: Vampire Master on Steed (Lord) from One Page Rules Vampiric Undead army. I took on the female version, while the young man tackled the male one.
Overall, I’m pleased with the result - though, of course, I can spot plenty of flaws. The fabrics still need proper shading and highlights, and the resin mistress will require a new weapon, as the original spear snapped along the way. We worked with Vallejo and Army Painter paints and we used rather mediocre brushes.
Wreszcie ukończyłem mój pierwszy figurkowy projekt.. Usiadłem ze swoim synem przy wielkim stole i przy nienajlepszym oświetleniu pomalowaliśmy dwie wersje tej samej miniaturki: Vampire Master on Steed (Lord) - Vampiric Undead pochodzące z Vampiric Undead Army zaprojektowane na potrzeby gry One Page Rules. Ja zabrałem się za wersję kobiecą, zaś młodzieniec pomalował faceta. Z efektu jestem zadowolony.
Oczywiście widzę całą masę niedociągnięć. Tkaniny potrzebują cieniowania i rozjaśniania. Żywiczna mistressa potrzebuje nowej broni, gdyż oryginalna włócznia się złamała. Malowaliśmy farbkami Vallejo i Army Painter, używaliśmy byle jakich pędzli.
